Our Beginner Winds & Percussion Program is the perfect place to start!

Designed for aspiring players, this exciting new program will teach the fundamentals of posture, tone production, and note-reading while helping students develop confidence and musicianship. Participants will learn to play simple songs with a beautiful sound – all in a fun, supportive environment led by experienced instructors. No prior experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll take care of the rest!

Schedule: Starting Fall 2025

Full-year program (Tues/Thurs for 1 hour from mid-September to mid-May)

Tuition: $68 per month ($730/year)

Payment plan, partial financial aid, and 2^nd child 10% discount are available

About the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association

The Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Association (CSYSA) has been inspiring young musicians since 1980, fostering musical excellence and personal growth through rigorous training and performance opportunities. Serving more than 500 students from across the region, CSYSA offers multiple ensembles, including orchestras, wind groups, and jazz ensembles, allowing youth of all levels to grow their talents. Through local concerts, regional tours, and international collaborations, CSYSA empowers young musicians to build confidence, develop teamwork, and share their artistry with the community and beyond.
