South Carolina Underground Film Festival


Experience the celebration of independent films from around the world at the 11th Annual South Carolina Underground Film Festival, where all genres of films have been welcomed with open arms since 2015.​

Starstruck! (71 mins/MD) - SOUTH CAROLINA PREMIERE - An actress in hiding must fight for her life when the stalker of her nightmares discovers her whereabouts. Directed by Kenneth Brossoie

12:00 PM - Horrific Shorts Block

​The Video (7 mins/SC) - John, the new director of The Southern Reach, watches the classified tapes from an expedition into the enigmatic zone called Area X. Only allowed four minutes of access to the footage, he begins to feel the mentally spiraling effects it has on him. Directed by Dallas Kline
 
Prom Party Massacre (19 mins/CA) - In a genre-bending musical full of teenage rebels, poodle skirts, and betrayal, a young gay man tries to woo his crush with a swinging prom party - but when popular kids start turning up dead, the partygoers discover a slasher killer amongst the student body! ​Baby Blues – Going Dark (19 mins/CA) - Barney needs a tooth out. His regular dentist is not in the office, but that's OK -- Dr Carroway and her assistant Penny will take care of him today ... Weekend at the End of the World (82 mins/CA) - EAST COAST PREMIERE - Best friends Karl and Miles head up to a cabin in the woods. What starts out as a weekend of partying, getting Karl over his ex, and fixing up the cabin in the hopes of becoming property tycoons, quickly descends into an adventure of inter-dimensional portals, possessed demonic heralds, and the fate of our world in the hands of two idiots.
