The Equniox'out and back'!Start at the top of Ester Dome by the fire water tank farm. Please DO NOT park in the open area at the top of the chute (also know as Ullrhaven) as this is private property. Drive a half mile further and park at the T intersection in the shadow of the Ester Dome antennas. To start, run back along the road to where you left off last time where the tunnel comes out onto Ester Dome Road. Turn around and run back up the road a couple hundred yards and turn right and follow the series of short switchbacks know as the 'zipper' up the power line and past the 13 Mile marker. Continue around the antenna and then turn left up the short steep section and then a right onto the antenna road. A short downhill brings you back to the T intersection where you parked. Go straight through the intersection, past another group of antennas, and onto the 'out and back'. Follow for a couple miles of ups and downs to the turnaround sign. There are several trails that turn off of the main road, so keep a keen eye out for Equinox directional signs. All prominent turns are marked. At the turnaround sign, well, turn around and return to the T intersection to finish. Total distance is about 4.5 miles.
