Join us for a poignant afternoon celebrating the resilience and spirit of Western North Carolina through the voices of its artists and writers. In honor of the newly released book Stronger Than The Storm: Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina, this special event will feature readings from contributors who have shared their powerful reflections and stories.

Stronger Than The Storm brings together the works of more than two dozen of the region’s finest writers and artists, capturing the emotions and experiences that emerged in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Through heartfelt prose and verse, they offer a testament to the selfless community spirit that continues to unite our mountain towns. Stronger Than The Storm will be available for purchase at the event from the Asheville Art Museum Store, with proceeds benefiting local recovery efforts.
