Sugar Hill Choir Presents its Dreams of Bethlehem Christmas Concert Dec. 13 and 14
Performance Marks Choir’s 21st Year of Gift of Music to the Community
ATLANTA (Nov. 16, 2025) -- The Sugar Hill Choir of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is performing its Dreams of Bethlehem concert on Dec. 13 and 14 at 7 p.m. Its annual gift of music Christmas event will be performed by more than 65 musicians, featuring a tapestry of narration and choral music that is woven with beautiful harmonies and tender lyrics.
The 75-minute performance will explore the miracles of Christ and his birth and the human yearning for healing, hope and peace. The audience will be transported back to the sacred, expectant nights in Bethlehem where they will experience the quiet awe of the manger’s star, Mary's yearning for her newborn son, the whispered prayers of the ailing and broken, and divine transformation.
“Dreams of Bethlehem offers a sanctuary of song—where longing meets the miraculous, and every voice carries a prayer,” explained LDS Sugar Hill Choir Director Jim Carter, of Gainesville, Ga., who was named director in 2019 and has more than three decades of experience.
No ticket or purchase is necessary for the concerts being held at the LDS Church at 4833 Suwanee Dam Road, Suwanee, Ga., adjacent to North Gwinnett High School’s softball field. For more than two decades, the all-volunteer LDS Sugar Hill Choir has brought together thousands from the metro-Atlanta community and used their power and gift of music to create one harmonious voice.
