The streets and trails of downtown Colorado Springs are not exactly the "Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field" but on Super Bowl, more than 1,500 runners will race for paydirt there in the 13th Super Half Marathon & Game Day 5K, Presented by Toyota.

This is Colorado Springs' Super Sunday Tradition! We have a flat and fast race course, indoor packet pick-up at Plaza of the Rockies, and a great post-race party and awards at Jack Quinn's Irish Pub!

This race supports the Pikes Peak Road Runners, an organization that produces running races, and works to promote running, racing and healthful living in the Pikes Peak Region.

Race Map is being finished. There may be some small adjustments to the course this year, but it remains mostly the same out-and-back on the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail.

Game Day 5K Course:
The starting line is located on Colorado Ave. near the intersection with Tejon St. in downtown Colorado Springs. This is an out-and-back course that leads runners behind the Antler's Hotel to Sierra Madre St., then north to catch the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail. The 5K turnaround is just south of Uintah St. On the way, you'll pass through our very rowdy "Tailgate Party Aid Station," where some of the more leisurely runners have been known to linger. When you know, you'll know. Finish up at America the Beautiful Park.

This course is 3.43 miles, mostly flat and fast. There is one aid station at about 1.5 miles. There is one porta potty at the aid station.

Half Marathon Course:
This is an out-and-back course starting on Colorado Ave., just west of Tejon St. in downtown Colorado Springs. Runners will run north on the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail. Turnaround is just south of the I-25 overpass, about 6.8 miles from the start. Finish at America the Beautiful Park. The course is fast with a slight elevation gain on the way out.

Post-race Celebration:

Join us after your race at Jack Quinn's Irish Pub (21 S. Tejon) for our awards ceremony and a great runner party. We'll have some great live music, plus Super Bowl trivia and who-knows-what kind of shenanigans. The Jack Quinn's staff will serve its regular menu, plus a taco bar (great deal) along with all your favorite post-race drinks.
