5th Annual Tall Pines Preserve First Day Hike

The Friends of Tall Pines State Preserve invite you to join us and welcome in the New Year 2025 with our 5th annual First Day Tall Pines Hike. The Friends will lead a leisurely walk along the trails of Tall Pines to observe the calm beauty of the Preserve in winter and to view the remarkably active bird life at the Preserve this time of year. The two new bridges over Mantua Creek will be a highlight. We will also take the opportunity to familiarize the public with the Tall Pines Audio Trail and the pollinator garden. At the hike's conclusion, light refreshments will be served.

Difficulty Moderate - 1.5 miles (Mix trail surface with moderate incline)

Age Children of all ages and dogs on leash are welcome. There are no restroom facilities at Tall Pines Preserve. Light refreshments will be served after the hike.
