To experience Taos is to surrender oneself to the mountain, so we go on a wine hike of a different peak…Mt. Etna! Taste through the many expressions found on the volcanic slopes of this majestic Sicilian treasure. William Davis, Director of Education for Wilson Daniels, will walk you through a selection of 8 Mt. Etna wines from two of the great producers in the region; Benanti, a family with 3 centuries upon Etna, and Idda, the new winery of Gaja and Alberto Graci.

4:00PM - 5:00PM: Champagne & Caviar - El Monte Sagrado resort

Caviar and Blinis and other savory seafood bites from Chef Louis Moskow of 315 Restaurant & Wine Bar in Santa Fe served with Champagne from Skurnik Wines, Charles Neal Selections and Champagne Philipponnat – and sparkling wine from New Mexico’s own, Vara. A perfect way to start and segue into your Reserve Tasting experience.

5:00PM - 7:30PM: Reserve Tasting & Silent Auction - El Monte Sagrado resort

All 28 winery partners pouring their best wines alongside bites from great Taos restaurants. A silent wine auction of 40 wine lots benefits Taos High School’s Great Chefs of Taos program.
