35th Annual Texas Blueberry Festival
The Texas Blueberry Festival is the most delicious festival in the Lone Star State. June 14, 2025 marks a day-long celebration of the blueberry harvest. As the only state-sanctioned blueberry festival in Texas, this delicious annual event attracts more than 19,000 people to downtown Nacogdoches on the second Saturday in June.
Stay for the week or weekend and fill your calendar with a smorgasbord of activities. Visitors will enjoy live music, blueberry picking, auto exhibits, shopping and restaurant specials that will entertain and delight people of all ages!
Running of the Blueberries:
Join us for the "2025 Running of the Blueberries" featuring a 5K / 10K / route on the Lanana Creek Trail, Saturday, June 14, 2025

Running enthusiasts of all levels are invited to participate in our chip-timed 5K and 10K. Dog owners are invited to walk/run with their leashed and furry companions.
Families, children, and dog walkers looking for a gentler course will want to check out the event's 1-mile route.
This scenic 5K/10K travels along the Lanana Creek Trail/ Shofner Loop and benefits Dog Park Nacogdoches.

Blue Pies Smiling at Me Pie Eating Contest:
Pie Eating Contest: You can register at the event beginning at 9 a.m. on Pilar St. in Front of City Hall
Registration opens at 9 am and will end once all spots are filled. Contests will start at 10 am and run every 30 minutes
12 & under on the hour
Over 12 on the half hour
12-and-UNDER contests run:
10 am
11 am
12 pm
Over 12-years-old contests will run:
10:30 am
11:30 am
12:30 pm

Blue Washer Board Tournament:
A washer board tournament held June 14, 2025 in Festival Park, downtown. An event in the Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Tipton Ford.
Tournament location: Festival Park, 507 S. Pecan St., Nacogdoches, TX 75961.
Start time: 10 am, Saturday, June 14, 2024.
Sign Up Online or on the day of walk-up registration (deadline by 9 am) with a separate tournament
Entry Fee $20.00 per person / Cash Prizes provided by Host Blue Thumb Pool Care
This will be a double elimination event with a preregistration bracket for those who have signed up online, and then also a day of event registration walk-up bracket.

Registration – $20/person & $40/team
Register as a team or be assigned a teammate. Registration at 8 a.m.
The tournament runs from 9 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. and will be a Round Robin format.

Blueberry Cupcake Battle:
Amateur and professional bakers are cordially invited to participate in the Texas Blueberry Festival's Blueberry Cupcake Battle, benefiting the Family Crisis Center of East Texas.
Prepare six cupcakes to be judged on theme, appearance and flavor. Amateur and Pro divisions with four combined categories.
Entries must be delivered and set up at Location Mast Hall Venue 317 East Main Street by 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 14th during the Texas Blueberry Festival.
Judging will take place at 10:30 a.m. and the winners will be announced and trophies handed out at 12 p.m. Entry fee is $25 for each entry, and proceeds benefit the life-saving mission of the Family Crisis Center of East Texas.
Cupcake displays will be available for public viewing until the awards ceremony at noon.
