Introducing The Dabbler's Workshop, a fun and exploratory arts and craft class designed for those who love to experiment and try new things! Join us Saturday afternoons for a creative journey where each week brings a new medium and project to discover. Over the course of 12 weeks, we will be offering hands-on experience with a variety of materials, including paint, clay, glass, and textiles.
This unique class is taught by a team of talented instructors from Inspired Minds Art Center, each bringing their own expertise and creative flair. Whether you're looking to sign up for the entire semester, a specific month, or just the projects that catch your eye, The Dabbler's Workshop offers flexibility to fit your schedule. This is the perfect opportunity to explore your creative side, meet like-minded individuals, and bring your artistic visions to life. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and curiosity!
Using pottery skills like coiling and slab rolling, you will be led by instructor Emily Hohertz on how to best build a planter out of clay. Bring your ideas and inspiration, or come with a blank slate! No prior skills needed.
Once pieces are sculpted, you may choose to decorate them with underglazes, texture tools, or clay attachments before class is over.
Built into this class is the opportunity to glaze your piece during our Walk-in Pottery Painting hours Saturday from 1-4pm after your pieces have fully dried and have been bisque fired (usually around 2 weeks after initial class time).
