Embracing Your Mind-Body Connection
Celebrate World Meditation Day with this workshop created to help you embrace your mind-body connection.
Together, we will explore the two-way relationship where the mind influences the body, and the body influences the mind. We will learn about how a strong mind-body connection supports your health and well-being through:
- Stress reduction
- Better sleep quality
- Enhanced self-awareness
- Better emotional and physical health
We will also practice ways to strengthen that connection, including:
- Simple body-mind awareness techniques
- An in-depth body scan, to encourage a deep connection with physical sensations
- Integration of breath with the body scan
- Resetting your central nervous system through vagus nerve stimulation
- Mindful flow and movement
- Time in nature
- Self-reflection and journaling
