8 am: (Marshfield Assembly of God Fellowship Hall, 1538 W. Washington): Laura Ingalls Wilder Breakfast- The Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum hosts, “Nellie's Breakfast”-benefiting the Laura Ingalls Wilder Children's Literature Festival. The program will feature a panel interview with members of the “Wilder family” from Little House on the Prairie. Panel participants will include Jennifer Donati (Rose Wilder) and others. Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson) will serve as the moderator.
12:45 pm: (Marshfield Assembly of God Fellowship Hall, 1538 W. Washington): Wilson's Creek Foundation Luncheon- benefiting the Wilson's Creek Battlefield Foundation. Dr. Bill Piston (Civil War Historian) will moderate a panel on “Women of the Civil War Era” with Margaret Hayes Clark (great granddaughter of President Rutherford B. Hayes), Massee McKinley (great, great nephew of President William McKinley) and Christy Lindberg (former NP Ranger, Lincoln Home National Historic Site). 2 pm: (Jubilee Theatre, 109 Commercial Street): Cherry Blossom Wreath making with Sherilyn Weter-designing a springtime wreath (16” size grapevine wreath) that can be used in any home to welcome each Cherry Blossom Festival. 4:35 pm: (Marshfield Assembly of God Fellowship Hall, 1538 W. Washington): “Cooking with the First Ladies Man”- Andrew Och will lead a cooking demonstration with Allethea Wall (Sister of Rosalynn Carter) and Julie Wall-Smith (Niece of Rosalynn Carter). They will share stories and favorite recipes from the former first lady and Plains, Georgia. 6:30 pm: (Marshfield Assembly of God Fellowship Hall, 1538 W. Washington): The 20th Annual Hubble Dinner- where Marshfield's highest honor is presented, The Edwin P. Hubble Medal of Initiative. The dinner will honor Tina Cole (My Three Sons), Dorinda Nicholson (Pearl Harbor Child), Martha Nix Wade (Serena Burton, The Waltons) and others.
