Triad Pride Acting Company, along with our production sponsor Andy Fuller, is thrilled to announce its upcoming production of the critically acclaimed musical "Ride the Cyclone." This darkly comedic and profoundly moving show will take the stage at Congregational United Church of Christ from May 16th to May 25th.

"Ride the Cyclone" tells the unique and unforgettable story of six teenage choir members from Uranium City, Saskatchewan, whose lives are tragically cut short in a freak roller coaster accident. Suspended between life and death, they are given a chance to plead their case to a mechanical fortune teller, Karnak, for a single spot back in the living world. Each student shares their deepest desires, their unfulfilled dreams, and the poignant realities of their young lives in a series of wildly imaginative and musically diverse performances.

"We are incredibly excited to bring this exceptional musical to our community," says Stephen Hale, Artistic Director. "Ride the Cyclone" is a truly original piece of theatre that blends dark humor with genuine heart. It explores themes of identity, mortality, and the preciousness of life in a way that is both thought-provoking and deeply entertaining. We know our audiences will be captivated by these extraordinary characters and their stories."

The production will feature a talented cast of local performers, bringing to life the distinct personalities of Ocean O'Connell Rosenberg, Constance Blackwood, Ricky Potts, Jane Doe, Mischa Bachinski, and Noel Gruber. Audiences can expect a dynamic score that ranges from pop anthems to haunting ballads, all woven together with a captivating narrative.

Triad Pride Acting Company is committed to presenting diverse and engaging theatrical experiences that resonate with the community. "Ride the Cyclone" aligns perfectly with our mission to entertain, enlighten, and enrich while fostering understanding and acceptance.
