Schedule of Events

9am - 5pm: Nordic Center

Located at the highlands restaurant complex and the general golf course, our nordic center is offering ice skating on our new rink, tubing, snowshoeing and downhill sledding. Warm up by our cozy bonfire with your friends and family. Concessions are available at the golf course halfway house. All activities are weather permitting.

9am - 5pm: Trackman Golf Simulator

Located at the highlands restaurant complex and the general golf course, you can polish up your golf swing with our experienced golf pros. Lessons are complimentary for eagle ridge guests and members. Reservations are recommended by calling: 815-776-5251.

Hay rides start at 12pm

8am - 10am: Royal T Princesses Breakfast

Princesses will enchant during breakfast at woodlands restaurant

11am- 8pm: Indoor Playland And Craft Room

Located in the eagle ballroom at the main lodge

Bounce house, bean bags, checkers, bear factory, take home your very own travel buddy /animals, $20. Outfits $5-$12, winter themed crafts, $2 to $12.

11am -2pm: Mini Olympics At The Nordic Center

Simulator: drive / chip contest: 11am-1pm
Turkey bowling contest: 1pm - 2pm
Pub quiz trivia at highlands: 2pm - 4pm

10am - 4pm: Ron The Caricature Artist

3pm-4pm: Birds Of Prey
Lower-level galena rooms presented by the northern illinois raptor rehab & education; don’t miss the falcons, owls, hawks and much more!

4pm-5pm: Magician David Cass - $$

He will amaze guests with his talents. $7 per person at the door. 45 minute magic show. 30 minutes prior to and after the show david will stroll around the
Resort with his magic.

4pm: Hand Carved Ice Bar
Enjoy winter beverages including chef randy’s famoumarshmallow shots.

4pm - 6pm: S’mores Galore And Bonfire $$
Located in the courtyard (weather permitting)

6pm - 7pm: Fire & Ice Balloon Glow
Watch as we light up the sky in front of the inn with our hot air balloons. Wind and weather permitting!

7pm: Movies & Tubies
Indoor pool / enjoy as you splash around in our
Indoor pool ( resort guests only)

12pm - 1:30pm - 3pm: Tractor Wagon Rides

Tour the beautiful galena territory while sipping on hot chocolate and take in the beautiful driftless area on a tractor wagon ride. $7 per person, children under 3 years of age are free. Tickets are available at the front desk
