Woodsboro Memorial Day Services and Parade
The Glen W. Eyler Post 282, Woodsboro American Legion, will host its annual Memorial Day services and parade on Sunday, May 25. The event is free and open to the public.
Events start at noon with a wreath laying ceremony at the town’s War Memorial. A parade featuring various area organizations including Boy Scouts, baseball teams, fire companies, military groups, and the WHS Marching Band and will start at 1:30 p.m. The route runs from Mount Hope Cemetery to Main Street and Coppermine Road, ending on Second Street. The Legion will host a memorial service at 2:45 p.m. at its facility at 101 W. Elizabeth St. In the event of rain, a decision will be made by 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
