Come join us for the movie How to Train Your Dragon as we partner with the Leavenworth Public Library to bring film events to the Snowy Owl for the youngest members of our community.

Hiccup (voiced by Chris Sanders) is a young Norse teenager from the dragon-fighting island of Berk, where the tradition of battling dragons defines their way of life. Despite being the son of the clan chief (voiced by Dean DeBlois), Hiccup's unique perspective and offbeat humor make him an outsider. When he finds himself in dragon-fighting school, he is determined to prove his worth as a true Viking. However, his life takes a turn when he rescues an injured dragon he names Toothless, opening the door for him to inspire a transformative future for his people.

“How to Train Your Dragon” encourages us to navigate life with a heart full of love, choose our own paths over societal expectations, and become leaders of positive change, no matter how small our actions may seem. After all, not everyone can fly a dragon.
