This high-spirited celebration of freedom, unity, and equality is known for filling Centennial Olympic Park and the streets of Atlanta with the soulful sound of live music, amazing hand-made merchandise from local and international vendors, mouthwatering cuisine, and an array of immersive cultural activities for all attendees.

To heighten this already extraordinary experience, the event bolsters a vibrant televised parade (June 17, 2023) featuring captivating floats, colorful dance troops, community youth organizations, mesmerizing marching bands, and esteemed local and national dignitaries. Join us as we commemorate the historic day of Juneteenth, marking the emancipation of enslaved Africans in America.

Four day music festival, four stages, televised black history parade, 20 parade floats, diverse parade teams, carnival costumes, flyovers, Kings, Queens and Chiefs from Africa, family reunions, children's summer camp, Aboriginal powwow, African drum & dance, cultural amphitheater, speakers, panel discussions, over 400 vendors, international cuisines, food trucks, speakers, panel discussions, national artists, fireworks, water areas, barbers and hair stylists, dance competitions, historical reenactments, film reviews, multiple led screens, family reunions, Father's-day weekend celebration, and more. Everything about the people is underneath the umbrella of Juneteenth Atlanta!

The 2023 Juneteenth Atlanta Parade, presented by Cisco, will be broadcasted in its entirety. Prepare your parade team for television coverage! By registering in the Juneteenth Atlanta Black History Parade you have the opportunity to display yourself, cause, group, team, or business to the world! Please make sure all information is filled out and checked on the Application.

Be sure to provide a thorough description of yourself or your organization in the 'description of unit' box as our television commentators will use this information to highlight your group to a live television audience. We appreciate your interest in the televised Juneteenth Atlanta Parade. Welcome aboard!

JOIN US ON THE PARADE ROUTE

Line the streets and follow the parade to join the Juneteenth Atlanta Music Festival already in full affect at Centennial Olympic Park!?

2023 Parade Route: The parade starts at 228 Capitol Ave SW, at the Liberty plaza, across the street from our state Capitol building. The parade will move up Capitol Ave to Decatur Street and make a left turn onto Decatur Street, Decatur Street turns into Marietta Street and continues down Marietta Street to Baker Street, Makes a right turn on Baker Street, and makes a right turn on Centennial Olympic Park Drive and concludes at Centennial Olympic Park.
