From: Maine Celtic CelebrationThe Maine Celtic Celebration Committee proudly welcomes you to the 17th annual Maine Celtic Celebration! Whether you are a new or veteran Celebration visitor, you will find lots of music and other attractions to keep you entertained, exercised, and educated about all things Celtic.
Of course the centerpiece of the Celebration is the music. The Celtic Celebration has developed a reputation for presenting outstanding examples of traditional Celtic music from near and far. The local Irish session group will share tunes up in the Front St. Pub's Beer Tent until the official Celebration opening with fiery fiddler Gus LaCasse on the Main Stage at 5:30 pm. Food and craft vendors will also open. We can't think of a better way to end your workweek and start the weekend Celebration.
This entire weekend of music, games, food, and fun is brought to you by the all-volunteer, non-profit Maine Celtic Celebration Committee. It takes all year and over $40,000 to present the Celebration to you. It could not be done without the generous support of sponsors and donors. It also takes your participation. Your suggested donation of $15 per day will help ensure the future of this premier summer event in Belfast.
