Celebrate Oktoberfest on board the 1880 Train!

German immigrants were an important ethnic component in the 1880s European settlement of South Dakota, so Wilkommen to our German-inspired event that brings together our favorite German foods, tasty seasonal beer and of course live polka music! When you combine all of this together with a scenic steam train ride through the Black Hills, you have the perfect outing for a group of friends, family and more.

Must be 21 years of age or older

Schedule of Events

11:30-2:30 pm: Welcome Snack, German beer, and yard games.

2:15 pm: Board the Train

2:30 pm: Train Departs Hill City Station

3:30 pm: Train Arrives in Keystone

3:45 pm: Train Departs Keystone

4:45 pm: Train Arrives in Hill City
