The 19th Annual IN THE SPIRIT Arts Market and Northwest Native Festival is a summertime celebration of Native arts & culture.

The IN THE SPIRIT Arts Market and Northwest Native Festival is an annual summer celebration of Native arts and culture. The festival offers a variety of activities for all ages, including art exhibitions, a fashion show, live performances, artisan vendors, interactive activities, and food. This free community event is hosted collaboratively by the Washington State History Museum, Tacoma Art Museum, and Museum of Glass.

2:00 – 2024 Indigenous Fashion Show at Tacoma Art Museum

3:00 – Poetry readings by Rena Priest (Lummi) and Arianne True (Choctaw, Chickasaw) at Washington State History Museum

4:00 – Announcement of “People’s Choice Award” and In Memoriam at Washington State History Museum

4:15 – LOZEN (Puyallup) at Washington State History Museum
