NW Folklife Festival Poster

We are excited to reveal the 2024 NW Folklife Festival poster artwork in our following newsletter, so stay tuned! A talented duo of Seattle-based artists created the stunning piece - Eli Lara and Raven Juarez - beautifully showcasing our 2024 cultural focus.

Insights from the Poster Artists

"I love that this piece started out in loose pastels and ended up with people dancing all over it...Truth be told, I was feeling frustrated with the pastels and was absolutely floored when I saw what Raven had added to the piece." - Eli Lara

"Falling onto that meditative state and working so closely in [Eli's] landscape felt like being teleported to a new world, and I think you can feel the transfer of energy between us in the final product." - Raven Juarez
