Staten Island Arts is proud to announce that Jamaine Smith has been appointed as our new Executive Director, following his dedicated service as Interim Director since January 2025.

Over the past several months, Jamaine has guided our organization with steady leadership, a deep understanding of the arts community, and a strong belief in the power of creativity to bring people together. His approach has been thoughtful and collaborative, helping us build on our mission to serve all of Staten Island.

Under his leadership, Staten Island Arts will continue to support local artists, expand access to cultural programs across neighborhoods, and create spaces where people from all walks of life can connect through the arts. We are excited for the future and look forward to deepening our roots in every corner of the borough.
