Join us as we gather friends and family for the 24th Annual Walk of Hope for ALS
The 3.5 mile walk, beginning at the lower common (corner of Lake Ave and Church Street) in Wakefield, MA is a day to walk for those who no longer can. Monies raised support the ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) research of world- renowned researcher Dr. Robert Brown, Jr. at UMass Chan Medical School.
Registration begins at 9:00 am with the walk stepping off at 11:00 am. after the release of the doves.
We will walk for those living with ALS and for those who lost their courageous battle to the disease.
Our Faces of ALS Walkway will again honor our ALS warriors. Please provide us with who you are walking for (by Sept. 1st) and a photo of your loved one so we can add to the Walkway. If you have participated in the Walk in previous years, we have kept your sign. If you are new to the Walk, you can email the photo to us.
We encourage participants to fundraise to help us raise more funds for ALS research.
