9:00am - VR Game and Storytime at Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Library
Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Library will be hosting a fun and free event featuring a Polar VR experience, a storytime about Antartica, and hands-on activities regarding penguins and the arctic.

10:00am - 5K Run/Walk
Annual Winterfest 5K Fun Run. Runners will be divided into different age groups, and there will be awards for the top finishers in the age groups. T-shirts to all pre-registered runners. Proceeds go to future Civic Center program improvements. Badger Kettle Corn will set up at the Civic Center as well!
Runners should meet at the Baraboo Civic Center to check-in
Online registration only available until Friday, February 2, 2024 at noon. Any registrations after that time must be done in Room 12/14 at the Civic Center the morning of the 5K.

1:00pm - Family Iciclympics at Baraboo Civic Center Gymnasium
Families of 3-6 people compete in a variety of activities including trivia, mini-games, obstacle courses, and more! See if your family has what it takes to bring home a championship! Prizes include ticket vouchers courtesy of the Madison Mallards and Forward Madison FC.
Pre-registration is not required but helps us in our preparation. Families compete as teams, so only 1 person per family needs to register.

This tournament is hosted hosted by Baraboo Area Senior Citizen Organization. Meal provided, beverages $1

3:00-5:00pm: Family Snowball & Sledding Party at Steinhorst Park
Bring your sled to the hill at Steinhorst Park for some sledding, snowball fights, and refreshments. Refreshments provided for this event courtesy of Kwik Trip. Badger Kettle Corn will be set up at Steinhorst Park as well!

5:00-8:00pm: Open Skate Free Day at Pierce Park Pavilion
Thunderbird Youth Hockey will be providing free open ice skating. Skates are available for rent while supplies last.

10:45-11:30am: 55+ Games at Baraboo Civic Center Gymnasium
Free event for those ages 55 & older. Test your skills at several target games or various mini-games. Certificates awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in various age groups.
Pre-registration is not required but helps us plan

There will be open gyms at the Baraboo Civic Center on Monday, January 29, Wednesday, January 31, and Friday, February 2 at 10:45-11:30am for those that would like to practice the games.
