From: Women in the Arts FestivalWe look forward to seeing YOU at Edgewood Church in East Lansing for our 38th Annual Festival!
We're happy to once again bring you a weekend full of community and inspiration.
Highlights include:
An Artist Market full of vibrant color and flavor, bringing you the work of regional women artists.
Two Night Stage events, including:
Pianist Adrienne Torf and Lansing's own Voices of the Revolution performing Torf's and June Jordans "Collaboration" on Friday, November 10 at 7:30 pm. (Co-produced with the Ten Pound Fiddle)
A film screening of "A Wigged Out: The Musical" a film by Marcy Marxer with Cathy Fink, Saturday, November 11 at 6 pm
A full afternoon of Day Stage performances, featuring music, dance, spoken word, and choral music.
An online auction (live November 3-10) and silent auction on Saturday, November 11th. An eclectic mix of items provided by local businesses and artists, winning bids support the financial stability of Women in the Arts.
All of this in a warm venue where, as you fill your soul with beauty, you can fill your belly with meals and treats at the Sistrum Café.
The Friday Night Stage performance requires tickets, but all other events/activities are free to the public. You can support the work of this event by participating in online and silent auctions or offering a voluntary donation.
