From: North Lake Tahoe SnowFestNorth Lake Tahoe SNOWFEST is the largest winter mountain festival on the West Coast. Our annual event celebrates the best of North Lake Tahoe by showcasing the relationships between the local community and the people who visit. Our mission is to support local nonprofits, public programs, student organizations, and scholarships, through the production of our unique ten-day festival.

5:00 pm - 10:00 pm: Garwoods Kick-off - Snowfest scholarship candidates introductions w- The Blues Monsters
The Tradition continues with our Garwood's SNOWFEST Kick off Party. Thanks to Tom and his crew for starting every event off right with a Raging Party that sets the tone for all the rest. The Blues Monsters featuring Kendall Naughton will be rocking the night away so "PUT ON YOUR DANCING SHOES"!! Also we will be introducing this years SNOWFEST SCHOLARSHIP CANIDATES so don't forget to get online and support your favorite candidates.

2:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Le Chamois SNOWFEST Back to the Valley Throwback Party- Benefiting Lake Tahoe Ski Club Foundation
Snowfest returns to The Valley for the 75th anniversary of the ski area. DJ, drinks and food at the legendary Le Chamois and Loft Bar. Wear your finest Le Chamois throwback valley ski outfit and party like its 1983! Support SNOWFEST with a purchase of your one of a kind Chamois SNOWFEST T-Shirt. More event details coming soon. 7:00 am - 11:00 am: North Tahoe Firefighters Assoc. PANCAKE BREAKFAST Tahoe City
North Tahoe Firefighters Association Pancake Breakfast $10 per adult $5 per child (kids under 12). Right before the Tahoe City Street Fair (formerly parade). Come check out some Firetrucks and other equipment. North Tahoe Fire Department merch for sale as well. A delicious way to support your local firefighters.
8:00 am - 5:00 pm: Frozen Pickle Pickleball Tournament
Support youth programs and compete in the 1st Annual Frozen Pickle Cup at the Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe. Three divisions: Men's Doubles, Women's Double, and Adult-Child Doubles (13+ under). 8am-5pm (times vary based on division). $60-residents, $80-non-residents.
9:00 am - 5:00 pm: A History of Snowboarding In Lake Tahoe- WATSON CABIN
A "History of Snowboarding in Lake Tahoe" exhibit at the Watson Cabin showcases the evolution of snowboarding in the Lake Tahoe region featuring artifacts, photos, videos, and historical information detailing the early pioneers of snowboarding in the area, key developments in the sport, and how Lake Tahoe became a prominent snowboarding destination, all presented within the context of the historic Watson Cabin museum itself. Free admission all weekend!
11:00am - 1:30pm: Tahoe City SNOWFEST Street Fair (former Parade)
The Tahoe City Parade is now a Street Fair!! Sign up to take part or come on out to watch as the best and brightest of N. Lake Tahoe compete to see who is the Best In Show (Prizes awarded), Best Youth Entry, Most Tahoe, and Rookie of the Year! This years theme is Lake Tahoe Mountain Mardi-gras.
Entries will line the streets in stationary spots along the old parade route from 11:00am to 1:30pm. There will be vendors at the Penny Bear Park w- Snowfest Merch, other and info on non-profits supported by our events.

The Tahoe Art Haus and Cinema and Tahoe Tap Haus' annual BrewFest, aka BlizzardFest, is back! Located in the Cobblestone parking lot, there will be multiple breweries pouring beer and DJs spinning beats on the Edna the Elephant art car. Benefits the Shane McConkey Foundation. It's the best outdoor dance party of the year!

March 1st at the Tahoe City Golf Course with a Firework show Music w- the NOMADS. Music will kick it off at 5:30 Fireworks approx. 7pm. This is the only firework show on Lake Tahoe's North Shore. Don't miss it. Learn more about SNOWFEST Tahoe fireworks.
8:30pm: Snowfest After Hours- Featuring VICE GRIP@ PETE 'N PETERS

THE GREAT SKI RACE -Hosted by the Tahoe XC Center
Challenging you since 1977! One of the largest cross-country ski races west of the Mississippi, the Great Ski Race is the main fundraising event for the Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue Team, a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. This year start and finish at Tahoe XC and ski or snowshoe 26 kilometers. Race details can be found here. If you need a little motivation before registering, check out our Great Ski Race blog. This read will get you in the mood to race.
11:00am - 1:30pm: Tahoe City Dog Pull Hosted by Alpine Power Equip, benefiting Palisades Avalanche Dogs
Event will take place on 3-2at 11 am. On the Tahoe City winter sport park( 3rd fairway of golf course ) Directly behind Pete n Peter's. On line Tickets available soon or sign up day of event on site.
1:30pm - 3:00pm: Tail Wagger Best Trick Competition
Where my dogs at? The Best Trick competition will immediately follow the Dog Pull contest at the Winter Sports Park in Tahoe City. Dogs will compete under three categories: Speed Retrieve, Big Air and Showboat. Prizes will be rewarded for each winner.
All participants are invited to walk in the Kings Beach parade with the Tail Wagger crew on 3-8.
2:00pm - 5:00pm: Tahoe Community Nursery School Winter Party
Come skate, sled and have fun at the Tahoe City Winter Sports park and Support Tahoe Community Nursery School at the same time. Live Music, Silent Auction, and Fun
4:00pm - 8:00pm: Sunnyside Luau-Proceeds to Benefit Sierra Community House
Aloha SNOWFEST. Come join us for a "Hawaiian Luau" style menu and enjoy lake views that rival anything in the world. Sunnyside Annual Luau will feature Hawaiian Style Pupus , entries and Drinks. Wear your best Hawaiian style digs and bring your Aloha Spirt.

Come on in and enjoy Za's Traditional Clambake and the best views on the lake in Tahoe City, CA.
$30 per plate includes - 1 lbs steamed clams,1-2 chicken, corn and potatoes. Purchase tickets directly through Za's.
6:00pm - 10:00pm: Milk Jug Curling Monday Qualifying - DAY 1- Hosted by Lake Tahoe Ski Club Foundation and Tahoe City PUD
Curling on the Tahoe City ice rink - teams of 4 compete to see who can slide their milk jugs across the ice to a target to gain points. Play begins with each team sliding one jug, the team with the jug farthest from the target then slides until they better the other teams closest jug. Play continues in that format until all 8 jugs (4 per team) have been played. multiple rounds are played until one team reaches 15 points win by 2 or until time runs out.

Teams play a combo of bar games from pool, shuffleboard to darts for the rare chance of being this years Champion of Pete 'n Peters Bar Olympics. Bring your A-Game and a few of your friends for one of SNOWFEST longest running events.

10:00am - 12:00pm: Tahoe Lake School Field Trip Day
Tahoe City 4th and 5th graders compete in Survivor style challenges to see which teams flag will be posted at the West Shore Market for the next year as winners of Snowfest Field Trip Day.
1:00pm - 5:00pm: Poppy's "brain freeze" ice cream eating contest
Lauren Corda the new owner of Poppy's is happy to bring the ice cream eating contest back to SNOWFEST. Come hungry and ready to beat the competition. By devouring your ice cream before your competitors, But watch out for the "Brain Freeze!!!" Location TBD
3:00pm - 6:00pm: Palisades Tahoe Town League Race Series- Snowfest throwback in the Valley Night
Join us for the kick off of the Palisades Tahoe Town League Race Series on March, 5, 2025, where local racers of all levels come together to compete in a series of exciting alpine races. This community competition is perfect for skiers and snowboarders looking to challenge themselves and showcase their skills. This series will continue every Wednesday night from March 5 through April 9 with a new theme each week. Party on the KT Deck w- DJs and other into the evening
5:00pm - 9:00pm: Shadyside-West Shore Market Game Night and Best of Luck Contest
Come on down for a night of gaming and lavations.
Westshore Market: board games, card games and puzzles fun for all ages. Live music our Westshore famous flatbreads and so much more.
Shadyside: We will be hosting a Try Your Luck Contest. Individuals will compete in bracket style tournament in three different pure luck activities. ROCK PAPER SISSORS- HEADS OR TAILS- AND DICE ODD OR EVENS. The winners of each contest will receive a gift card. The top 8 finishers in all three events will then play again for the ultimate bragging rights of LUCKIEST PERSON IN TAHOE TITLE. (Grand Prize TBD)
Sign up in advance spaces limited. $20 per person gets you entry into all three contests.
Proceeds from this event will go to help support Snowfest Future Productions.

Get ready for an epic day on the mountain! Join us at Diamond Peak's Village Terrain Park for a Jib Jam like no other, where you can showcase your skills or cheer on riders throwing down their best tricks to win awesome prizes across a variety of categories. After the action, head over to UNR's Lake Tahoe campus to keep the energy high with live music, cozy winter treats, and great vibes. Whether you're here to shred, spectate, or just soak up the snowy scene, this is one winter event you won't want to miss!
12:00pm - 7:00pm: Wine N Ice Sculpture Competition-Alibi Ale Works
Truckee River Winery is hosting a fundraising event with Truckee River Watershed Council. On-Site Ice carvers will be given 5 hours to sculpt their blocks of ice on Friday March 8th at Alibi Ale Works in Truckee. All carvers will be judged on artistry, creativity, level of difficulty and relevance. Carvers are encouraged to choose a design that emulates all three of these skills. A max of 2 individuals per team.
4:00pm - 7:00pm: Tahoe National Brewing Co. Gelande Quaffe- Throwing, catching and drinking BEER event

5:00pm - 9:00pm: BridgeTender Fat Friday- 3 POINT JAM
Bridgetender Fat Friday 3 Point Jam. Teams of 4 will compete in a bracket style tournament shooting hoops from around an arc in a timed event. ( much like NBA all star game 3 point contest set up but with 4 players) Jerseys or costumes encouraged. Come on out and play or cheer on your favorite team. Sign up below spaces limited to 16 teams. 5:30pm - 11:00pm: Electric Flashback Fundraiser - CBC benefiting Diamond Peak Ski Team
Leg warmers, teased hair and your best 80's outfit! Dance the night away to the 80's cover band, New Wave Crave, while supporting the Diamond Peak Ski Team!
Pre-party starts at 5:30 and includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, 2 drink tickets, and access to a digital live and silent auction. Band kicks off at 8pm. You must purchase a general admission ticket to gain access to the pre-party.

Live music at Tahoe National Brewing Company. The Connor Party is a group of musicians who have become a fixture and a favorite around Northern California, Nevada and beyond. They are known for their playful banter and their ability to play almost any request you throw at them - and play it well.

Alaskan Open Snow Golf Tournament Snow golf is nine holes of pure winter fun for a good cause and a highlight of North Tahoe's Snowfest.
10:00am - 11:30am: Tail Wagger Dress Up Your Dog presented by Kristen Pepin, Realtor
The Tail Wagger is bringing back a local favorite! Dress Up Your Dog will take place at Spindleshanks on the Bocce ball courts prior to the Kings Beach Parade. Come dressed to impress! There will be prizes for Best in Show, Most Original-Creative, Owner Look-A-Like and Best Tail Wagger.
11:00am - 3:00pm: Olympic Trails Free Ski Day at Sugar Pine Point State Park
Celebrate local Olympic History with a Free Ski Day at the Park!
The 6th annual Free Ski Day at Sugar Pine Point State Park returns! This activity-packed day is sponsored by the Sierra State Parks Foundation. The Foundation hosts this event to connect the community to the Olympic Heritage history, as well as offer an accessible opportunity for new park visitors to explore the park! Consider making a donation to continue education programs that foster care, connection, and inspiration!
On the campground side of Sugar Pine Point State Park (not lakeside), there are groomed trails perfect for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. On March 8th from 11 - 3 pm:
11:30am - 12:30pm: Kings Beach SnowFest Parade
This fun-filled event brings over 1,700 spectators and features entries from over 30 local community organizations and businesses, featuring costumes, floats, and live music. Everyone is encouraged to spend the day in Kings Beach for SnowFest! activities and events.
12:30pm - 1:30pm: Snowball Drop Draw
12:30pm - 2:30pm: Tahoe Backyard presents KB Parade After-Party and Keg Rolling Races
Join us after the Kings Beach Parade for the 3nd annual keg rolling races! Bring a partner to participate in an outdoor keg rolling obstacle course - snow, slush, or shine. Costumes will be given bonus points. Kids are also welcome to participate. Sign-up to race on-site at Tahoe Backyard before the races begin. Prizes will be awarded for the fastest keg rollers!

12:00pm - 4:00pm: RIVER RANCH Snow Sculpture Contest
Annual SNOWFEST closing event!! Hosting teams from non- profit organizations who will mold shape carve color and decorate their mounds of snow into a masterpiece!! Teams compete for cash prize donations to their NPO. Come for Food, fun, live music and celebration of another fantastic event.
1:00pm - 2:00pm: I-Did-A-Run Dog Race Benefit for the Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort
Dogs of all breeds and sizes compete against the clock, pulling sleds over a snow-covered course across four weight divisions; 0-25 pounds, 26-50 pounds, 51-75 pounds, and "heavy weight" at 75 pounds and over. Prizes are awarded to the fastest competitor in each division with a trophy for the overall winner.
The entry fee is $25 per dog and includes a goody bag for the competing pooch. Check in begins at 12:30 and the races begin at 1:00 PM
