The 52nd Burning Mountain Festival is Here!

Get ready for a weekend full of music, food, vendors, and fun as the 52nd Burning Mountain Festival lights up downtown New Castle.

September 13, 2024:

4:00pm: Food and Craft Vendors

5:00 - 9:30pm: Beer Garden

5:00pm: Music by Rumours

7:00pm: Volunteers of the Year

7:30pm: Music by Feeding Giants

September 14, 2024:

7:15am: Fire-in-the-Hole 5K

9:00am: Food/Craft Vendors all day

9:00am: Car Show at Kamm Avenue

10:00am: Parade Down Main

The festival parade begins at 10:00 AM, (Click here for application) heading east on Main Street from the Elk Creek Elementary parking area. This year’s parade theme is "An Era of Music." This year’s Grand Marshal is life-time resident, former Mayor, Council Member, Town Manager and first Local Historian of New Castle, Steve Rippy.

11:00am: Foam Pit at Park

11:30am: Strider Race at Com. Ctr.

1:00pm: Pie Eating Contest
Plus tug-o-war and other games

2:00pm: Log Splitting Contest

2:30 - 9:30pm: Beer Garden

3:00pm: Music by the Know Bodies

5:00pm: Gerry Goodman Band

7:30pm: Mitt Spicy and the Blues Bandits
