Western Days serves as Elgin's Annual Homecoming. Three days of non-stop fun, class reunions, and community support makes this one of our favorite events of the year. Held the fourth weekend of every June, Western Days is a great time to be had by all. Thursday and Friday will be a great kick off to lead up to our Grand Parade and Park Festivities on Saturday.

6pm - 9pm: Family Foam Hoe Down

Get your dancing boots on for the ultimate Family Foam Hoe Down! Head over to Elgin Memorial Park for a dance-off extravaganza like no other. DJ Fernando will be dropping the hottest beats while foam galore rains down - just bring your killer dance moves. Teens can dive into arcade games and family foam. Grab some grub from our awesome vendors and let's kickstart Western Days with a rip-roaring family celebration!

9am: Golf Tournament

Get ready to tee off with style at the Western Days Golf Tournament - it's a hole-in-one event! Kickstart your day with the ultimate breakfast duo of Bloody Mary's and Mimosas. Show off your golf prowess on the course or take a chance with our 50/50 Golf Gamble. Keep your game strong with mulligans, raffle tickets, and delightful treats from our cart crew. And of course, stay for the awards ceremony and a lunch to wrap up the fun-filled day!

7pm: Goat Roping

Your Elgin Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to collaborate with the Lost Pines Riding Club for their Western Days Goat Roping event at the Julius Marek Arena Friday night. Roping starts at 7:00 PM, so don't miss the fun!

We will have a table featuring Western Days merchandise, so come join us for an exciting evening of roping and rodeo fun!

10am: Wrangler Round Up Parade

Join the Elgin Chamber of Commerce for the beloved Grand Parade, a treasured event in our town. Expect the streets to be adorned with excited community members ready to witness the spectacle of the floats. Embracing the traditional western  theme titled "Wrangler Round Up," this year's parade promises a vibrant celebration. Scheduled to start promptly at 10 AM, you won’t want to be late. As we celebrate the 56th Annual Western Days, we encourage the active participation of all our local businesses.

10am - 4pm: Park Festivities

Head over to the Elgin Memorial Park for a full day of fun. Shop our arts & crafts vendors, find your new favorite boutique, or grab a bite to eat. Grab a cold beer while you listen to live music performances throughout the day. Jump in on the fun with one of our multiple tournaments, and win bragging rights and a t-shirt. It’s Texas in June y’all, so it’s going to be hot. Bring a pop up tent for some shade and an ice chest with water. Whatever you do, just make sure you join us for a tradition that is 56 years strong.
