May 28, 2025:

9:00 am - 4:00 pm: Workshop by Denny Dowdy at Missouri Town Living History Museum

This workshop will cover everything you need to know about plein air painting – for FUN and for Profit! All skill levels; bring your own lunch! Registration fee is $250 for Summit Art members and $275 for nonmembers of Summit Art. Summit Art will cover your admission fee to the venue.

May 29, 2025:

9:00 am - 6:00 pm: Check In and Stamping at Legacy Park Shelter #2

9:00 am - 11:00 pm: Day Painting Times at Legacy Park

9:00 am - 4:00 pm: Day Painting Times at Stonehaus Farms

6:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Kickoff Party at Legacy Park Shelter #2

Kickoff Party starts at 6:00 pm at Shelter #2 in Legacy Park, Lee’s Summit, MO. All registered artists are invited to join us for an informal gathering. We’ll provide some delicious food, snacks and beverages. Great opportunity to catch up with friends and make new ones!

8:00 pm to 11:00 pm: Nocturne Painting at Legacy Park Only

May 30, 2025:

9:00 am - 10:00 am: Check In and Stamping at Lake Jacomo (South Dock Pavilion)

9:00 am - 4:00 pm: Painting Times

Experience and capture the sights of a small Missouri lake. Lake Jacomo is a breathtaking 970-acre lake located in the heart of Fleming Park. Enjoy depicting colorful sailboats, pontoon boating, fishing, and gorgeous lake scenery. Bring your own lunch! Summit Art will cover your admission fee for the day.

May 31, 2025:

9:00 am - 10:00 am: Check In and Stamping at Visitors Center

9:00 am - 2:00 pm: Painting Times

2:30 pm: Purchase Award Judging and Presentation

2:30 pm - 4:00 pm: Mini Art Show and Sale

June 1, 2025:

Main Public Event at Stonehaus Farms:

8:00am - 10:30 am: Painting Times (optional)

11:00 am: Turn in all finished paintings for Judging

11:30 am - 12:00 pm: Judging

12:00 pm: Awards Presentation

12:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Public Art Show & Sale

2:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Live Music “Troubadour Retrievers”

12:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Food Truck(s)

12:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Wine Tasting and Beverage Sales by Stonehaus

5:00 pm: Pick Up Unsold Artwork

Artists may paint at Stonehaus Farms Vineyard & Winery (outdoors only) from 8:00 am to 10:30am. There is no Quick Paint competition this year!

Each artist is responsible for transporting their finished artwork(s) from all painting days to Stonehaus Farms on Sunday no later than 11:00 am for judging, show, and sale.

Fee for the Main Event:

$60 (nonmembers of Summit Art)
$50 (members of Summit Art)
