The Artichoke Festival is back for it's 65th year with a fantastic theme for 2025: "Artichoke Festival: Back to the Valley!" Experience a down home family festival in the bountiful Salinas Valley! This year we're excited about our move to a new location—the Monterey County Sheriff's Posse Grounds! The Festival celebrates the harvest season in California, highlighting the artichoke's central role in our region's agricultural legacy.

Don't miss out on this unique celebration of food, fun, and community spirit.

It's more than a festival; it’s an experience!

Featuring exciting live music, children's attractions, artichoke field tours, contests, arts & crafts vendors, food trucks, and libations, with a special "Artichoke Row" highlighting local chefs' culinary artichoke expertise.

Artichoke Field Tours

Our All-Volunteer Artichoke Experts will take you on a guided tour of a nearby Artichoke field for a personalized educational experience about what it takes to grow this unique vegetable (which is actually an un-bloomed flower!)

Intrepid farm-tour participants might even be able to harvest a ‘choke or two!

Tickets: $10 per seat for adults and children 6 years and older.
