Named one of the best food festivals in the Midwest, the Sun Prairie Sweet Corn Festival is always held the third full weekend in August. The featured food is 80 tons of Wisconsin grown sweet corn served with savory butter and sprinkled with salt to your liking. With Five days, we’re sure to offer something special just for you!

August 16, 2023:

6:00 PM: Parade - Main Street

Parade line-up is at Central Heights Middle School (220 Kroncke Drive) Official route starts at “Interior by JW” on Main Street and finishes at the Market and Linnerud – ish. (halfway down)

Immediately After Parade: Live Music - The Dirty Birds - Cannery Square

Immediately After Parade: Special food and drinks after the parade! - Downtown Sun Prairie

Dining establishments will have special food and drinks after the parade! Shop downtown! (No steamed sweet corn until Saturday.)

August 17, 2023:

6:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Carnival Wristband Night - Angell Park

Carnival Wristband Night – $30 unlimited rides. (No steamed sweet corn until Saturday.)

August 18, 2023:

6:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Food Vendors and Beer Shelter
(Premium roasted corn only by beer tent. No large quantity.)

6:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Carnival Wristband Night - $30 unlimited rides

6:00 PM - 11:00 PM: Q106 Live

Madison’s Country station Q106 will be live at Corn Fest. Along with on-air personalities, the Q106 Silverado, 17ft inflatable boot, concert ticket give-away and station swag just for visiting.

7:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Live Music – Super Tuesday - Main Stage/Beer Tent

Now they’re bringing their drink-raising, dance-a-billy, funfest skills to the next level with a tour level fully synchronized lighting and video show to Corn Fest!

This alt-rock band has appeared in commercials, played in stadiums and coliseums, and have had the opportunity to open for national artists such as Old Dominion, Thompson Square, Gloriana, Phil Vasser, Sawyer Brown, Emerson Drive, the BoDeans and even Tommy Tutone.

SuperTuesday takes their cues from artists like Bon Jovi, Brothers Osborne, Journey, Michael Jackson, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, Billy Idol, Pat Benatar, Pitbull, Poison, Bruno Mars, Guns N Roses, and Luke Combs (just to name a few).. Performances are more fun than a barrel of monkeys, thanks to our slightly crazy SUPER fans and a fair amount of Bud Light.

August 19, 2023:

Broadcasting LIVE – La Movida plus multiple bands, dancing, & hot pepper eating contest.

Throughout Sunday, beginning at Noon, they will have Three bands and DJ Miranda.

Of course, dancing, audience participation contests and more are always included.
