Thousands of visitors from across the region have experienced the excitement and nostalgia that the event has to offer. With first class music performances, arts & crafts, fun carnival rides, unique attractions and a glimpse into North Georgia's rich history and culture, the Fair provides something for every member of the family!

7:00 pm: Miss Georgia Mountain Fair Pageant
Make plans to attend the Miss Georgia Mountain Pageant and support the young ladies competing to represent the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds and our community! The event is directed by Ms. Corrina Luckenbach and hosted by Mark Ward.
The Miss Georgia Mountain Fair is looking for contestants ages 17 to 24 to compete in the annual Miss Georgia Mountain Fair Pageant!

The Hiawassee Garden club members showcase their beautiful designs, arrangements, and horticulture specimens for you to learn about and enjoy. This year's design theme is "Elements and Weather on Earth" and you will be amazed at this talented group's creations!
4:00 pm: Carnival Rides Open
The Georgia Mountain Fair is excited to have Amusements of America back for year three! Noted in the Guiness Book as the "largest traveling amusement park in the world" with fun rides and attractions, they will provide a fun midway experience - complete with clean, safe family rides and games, as well as additional guest amenities throughout!
7:00 pm: Gene Watson & Bellamy Brothers
Admission: $25 + handling

11:00 am: 73rd Annual Parade
Who doesn't love a good parade? The annual Georgia Mountain Fair parade is a tradition in these here hills dating back 73 years! We invite you to come join in the fun and celebrate with us.
The festivities begin at 11am on Saturday, August 17th. The 2024 theme is "Come for the Mountains, Stay for the Fun!" The parade starts at South State Bank and parades through the Fairgrounds and around Anderson Music Hall.
