The 7th annual Johnson City Jazz Festival will feature internationally acclaimed jazz bands in a 6 day event to support the Jazz Foundation of America helping regional Jazz musicians severely impacted by Hurricane Helene.

March 27, 2025

On Thursday March 27, The Festival will open up at Capone’s in Downtown Johnson City with a free performance by the Peterson Perkins Quintet featuring vocalist Marion Edwards and the Johnson City Jazz Collective. Tips are welcome.

March 28, 2025

The Festival moves to the Johnson City Country Club for ticketed performances with $5 of each ticket sold going to the Jazz Foundation of America. Friday March 28 features The Jorge Garcia Quartet and the Michael Robinowitz Quartet. Saturday March 29 features The Margherita Fava Trio and the Julie McConnel Quartet.  Shows begin at 8 pm each night. Tickets for both nights are $45, for each individual night $30.

March 29, 2025

Sunday March 30 The Peterson Perkins Quintet will perform at the Little Magic venue in Downtown Johnson City from 12 to 3  pm. This is a free event but tips are welcome.

March 31, 2025

Monday the Festival moves to the newly renovated Jackson Theater with performances by The ETSU Jazz Ensemble directed by Martin Walters and the Tri Cities Jazz Orchestra directed by Eddie Dalton. Performances will begin at 7:00  pm. Tickets will be $12 along with a donation to the preservation of the Theater and a portion going to the Jazz Foundation of America. You can purchase tickets from the Jackson Theater.

9:30 pm: Johnson City Jazz Collective - Wellington's

April 1, 2025

The Festival will then cap off at the Martin Center with internationally acclaimed Jazz band Spyro Gyra sponsored by the Johnson City Jazz Festival. For tickets and more information about this Spyro Gyra concert, visit the Martin Center.  $5 of every ticket sold will again go to the Jazz Foundation of America to support regional Jazz musicians impacted by Helene.
