The festival will celebrate 84 years with the theme "All-American Band Festival" complete with free live entertainment, carnival, marketplace, and of course, the BIG parade!
The North Iowa Band Festival is the largest free marching band competition in the Midwest. Tourism-related expenditures contributed an estimated $136.18 million into Mason City’s economy in 2018. In Cerro Gordo County, tourism generated an estimated $214.46 million in visitor spending, a record for the county and the 11th highest County level in the State. Tourism related jobs employed nearly 1,570 people in Cerro Gordo County.

Tony Bohnenkamp and Andy Anderson bring the fantastic music and iconic personalities of Elton John and Billy Joel to life with the spectacular “Elton and Billy-The Tribute!” featuring spot-on performances accompanied with outrageous outfits that’ll make you believe you’re seeing the real thing!

The North Iowa Band Festival is excited to host North Iowa’s first Bill Riley Talent Show of the summer!
5pm: Day Peace - Main Stage
Day Peace is a comedian of 12 years who is making a name for himself not only in the Midwest but across the country! Day provides a fun, spontaneous, and professional act which will find you in fits of outrageous laughter!
5:30pm: The Sweet Nuthins - Main Stage
The Sweet Nuthins is a five-piece rock group based out of North Iowa. They specialize in rock/pop covers from the 60’s through the 90’s with an emphasis on vocal harmonies.
7pm: Morgan Myles - Main Stage
Morgan Myles is a vocalist, songwriter, and guitar player who rose to fame from her hit EPs and recent success on NBC’s “The Voice”. This country star has opened shows for the likes of Reba McEntire, Hank Williams JR., and Rick Springfield. This is one show you won’t want to miss!
