The 2025 Utah Republican Party State Organizing Convention will take place on Saturday, May 17 at Utah Valley University’s UCCU Center. This convention is one of the most important events for our party-it sets the direction for the Utah GOP and plays a vital role in shaping the future of conservative leadership in our state.

At this event, party delegates from across Utah will come together to elect our next State Party Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. These positions are critical to ensuring we stay organized, focused, and ready to win elections at every level. 

Filing is now open for individuals who want to run for one of these state party offices. This is a great opportunity for principled, committed Republicans to step up and lead. More details on filing can be found at utgop.org. 

Under the direction of Chairman Robert Axson, all voting at this year’s convention will be conducted by paper ballot. 

This event isn’t just a party function-it’s a moment for Utah. It’s a chance to reaffirm our values, strengthen our foundation, and continue the work of preserving conservative principles in every corner of the state. 

All guests, elected officials, and members of the public, will be required to register in advance for a free ticket. Booths will be open throughout the day featuring candidates, elected officials, and community partners.
