BECKLEY, W.Va. (Dec. 16, 2024) – This holiday season, UScellular is giving back to the community. The company donated $1,500 worth of aquatic activity equipment, pickleball equipment and speaker supports to Active Southern West Virginia Dec. 11 at the charity’s headquarters. The donation will support ASWV's mission to promote healthy, active lifestyles. These resources enhance the organization’s community-led programs, offering diverse and accessible physical activities. The donation helps break down economic and social barriers, improving health outcomes and fostering community development in southern West Virginia.
As part of UScellular’s “Gift of Connection” program, the donation to Active Southern West Virginia is one of 50 gifts to non-profits across the country. The company is helping organizations by providing needed supplies in gratitude for their dedication to building connection through art, music and sports in their local communities.
