Thanks to overwhelming community support, Advisors Insurance Group has officially awarded a $10,000 donation to Developing K.I.D.S., a Detroit-based nonprofit that empowers youth through after-school programs, mentorship, and essential resources to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The funding will provide after-school and summer meals for an entire school year, ensuring children in working families receive the nutrition they need to grow and learn.

Initially, Advisors Insurance Group received a $5,000 donation through the Liberty Mutual® and Safeco Insurance® 2025 Make More Happen™ Awards program. After their story was featured on the Make More Happen microsite at www.agentgiving.com/advisors-insurance-group, the community rallied with over 500 votes and comments—triggering a matching donation and bringing the total to $10,000.

Throughout 2025, Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance will recognize up to 36 independent agencies nationwide, donating up to $360,000 to nonprofit organizations they support.
