From: Alliance Francaise de DenverBonjour !
Thanks to all who came to our apéro last Thursday! Check out our instagram stories @afdenver for a quick look at our time together! This week, we are pleased to introduce you to our teacher of the week, Sylvie Deloge!
Sylvie was born in France and grew up in the suburbs of Paris. After she completed a master’s in foreign Languages and Economics at the University of Paris 10, she worked as a humanitarian full-time volunteer for a year in England and in Canada. She moved to the United States in 1996 and started teaching French. After a few years, she took a break and held jobs with increasing responsibilities in the finance and marketing fields. In 2018, she returned to her original passion and joined the teaching staff at the Alliance Francaise of Denver. She is also passionate about yoga and pottery. In her free time, she likes creating on the potter’s wheel, going for hikes, travelling to warm countries, discovering new cultures, and cooking for her children.

We would be honored to have you join us for the 2023 Alliance Française Annual Gala, with the featured theme of ‘La Belle Époque’, on the night of Saturday, October 14th. During this time, Parisian culture saw several important developments in impressionism, cubism, and revolutionized painting as well as graphic designer printmaking to a fine art form. Come join us as we celebrate this transformational period of time!
