Here’s what’s included:

- Round-trip transportation to and from the stadium, departing from the museum at 5 pm promptly.

- 90 minutes of all you can eat picnic in the Palm Pavilion, by the Jumbo Shrimp bullpen. Menu includes burgers, hot dogs, BBQ pork sandwiches, chips, coleslaw, cookies, soda and water. (Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase separately.)

- Great seats all together in section 101.

- Game starts at 7:05pm. We anticipate we will be back at the museum no later than 11pm.

All of this is only $90 per person!

We NEED a full bus of 25 people to make the numbers work, but we expect this to sell out quickly.

Don’t miss September’s exciting Brown Bag Lunch, presented by Phil Nieman and Dave Roeser! Join us at the museum for a presentation from two generations of Coast Guard servicemen, as they teach us about the history of the U.S.C.G., from its earliest days to the daring rescues missions of the 20th century. Learn with us as these stories come to life through original images and artifacts from our speakers’ personal collections!

Attendance is free and open to the public and attendants may bring their lunch. Seating is limited on a first come, first served basis. This program is wheelchair accessible.

New Exhibit Opening!

Join us on the evening of Friday, September 15th for the opening of the museum's newest temporary exhibit: Fernandina in Fiction! This exhibit takes a look at Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island's appearances in popular books, movies, and other fictional works. Joining us to give a special presentation will be Joe Palmer, local author of the book A Mariner's Tale, who will speak about Southern fiction and how Amelia Island influenced his work. It is certain to be an exciting evening, so please join us on September 15th!

Attendance is free for members and a suggested donation of $5 for nonmembers. Seating is limited on a first come, first served basis. This program is wheelchair accessible.

Come join us as we celebrate our Latin connection!
The Amelia Island Museum of History is partnering with Pineland Bank and the Farmer’s Market to present the Fiesta de Santa Maria in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month on September 30th, 9am to 12pm, in the bank parking lot.

Enjoy Spanish guitar music, Flamenco, food booths, and performances by local Dance Studios, as well as presentations by costumed historical figures who made an impact on Amelia Museum.

Pub Crawl

A wealth of historical information about downtown Fernandina and a good time for all!

Make a reservation to tour a few of our small town’s most popular, notorious or otherwise historic pubs and bars. This 2.5 hour tour covers about eight blocks of our historic district with stops at three to four of Fernandina’s historic pubs to enjoy a specialty drink and tales of years gone by. Along the journey your tour guide will regale you with colorful tales about the town and the people who lived there. It’s history with a kick!

This tour is held at 5 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.

A minimum of 4 people is required to run the tour, with a maximum of 8 people per group. Must be 21 years of age or older. ID is required. The cost is $40 per person.

City of Fernandina Beach Bicentennial Celebration

The City of Fernandina Beach, along with Fernandina Beach Main Street, Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Historic District Council, the Amelia Island Museum of History, and the Amelia Island- Fernandina Restoration Foundation are collaborating to bring you a commemorative year of events.

Fernandina Beach was established on January 1, 1825. To celebrate its impending 200th birthday, we are collaborating with local organizations to bring you a series of activities throughout 2024 which culminate with a City-wide party on January 1, 2025.

The Fernandina 200 Steering Committee is looking for a variety of diverse activities that will attract residents and visitors. An application for involvement is available on the City’s website. Possible activity ideas could include hosting a scavenger hunt, live performances, creation of a time capsule, artifact displays, children’s events, home walking tours, old-time photo booths, musical performances, local culture culinary offerings, genealogy discussions, or art exhibits and competitions.
