SEE THEM IN ACTION

James,

Before, during and after deployment, many of our service members and veterans face complex physical and emotional struggles. Healing can be a long and difficult process — but for some, furry friends can help them along their journey.

Since World War II, American Red Cross therapy dogs have been deployed alongside their handlers to bring joy to veterans and service members in hospitals, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers. We are proud that this tradition continues today.

Certified Red Cross therapy dogs provide a deeply loving and nurturing temperament that is pure and unconditional. They play a vital role in healing those who have served our country, and that’s why we want to share a few stories about their impact and the brave people they’ve helped.

Will you take a moment to learn about Red Cross therapy dogs and how they help to bring comfort and healing to our veterans and service members?
