Grammy-nominated singer, playwright, and actor Somi Kakoma (Dreaming Zenzile at ArtsEmerson and New York Theatre Workshop) for an intimate celebration of the musical legacy of political activist and singer Miriam Makeba. This free, public event is presented by the Harvard University Music Department as part of Harvard ArtsThursdays, a university-wide initiative supported by Harvard University Committee on the Arts.

Join 2nd Act for their annual event, Encore, with a premiere of their newest play I’ll Be There For You. This piece was written by playwrights in recovery and is based on interviews with Queer and BIPOC youth about substance use, identity, and connection.
