From: Annapolis Maritime MuseumVolunteer Spotlight
"I have been blessed to volunteer with the Box Of Rain program for close to 20 years…
These children, or as we call them campers, live in difficult situations and don’t have the access to water activities like I did when I was a child. It’s lovely to see them grow and to overcome fears, like kayaking and sailing. I’ve now watched campers grow from school age to graduating from high school and college…
Box of Rain builds relationships and brings confidence to many of our fragile youth that have such challenging lives. I hope that I will be able to continue volunteering and supporting this amazing organization in the years to come. Thank you, Sue"
