Arizona Democratic Party on President Biden's Final Oval Office Address

ARIZONA - Following President Biden’s farewell addresses, Arizona Democratic Party Chairwoman Yolanda Bejarano released the following statement: 

“Following President Biden addressing the nation for the final time from the Oval Office, we thank him for his lifetime of service and recognize the progress he achieved for Arizonans. The Biden-Harris administration championed historic legislation that brought hundreds of thousands of good-paying jobs to Arizona and led the nation out of the health and economic disaster of the coronavirus pandemic. In 2025 and beyond, we will re-elect our incumbent Democrats and Arizona Democrats who will build on this progress, fight against Donald Trump and his corporate interests, and protect the rights of Arizonans.”

Under the Biden-Harris administration, Arizonans saw record investment and job growth: 

  • President Biden and Arizona Democrats added 378,800 new jobs, ushering in nearly $124.1 billion in private-sector investment
  • Thanks to the Biden-Harris administration, 466,800 Arizonans submitted applications to start new businesses. 

President Biden made healthcare more accessible for Arizonans and lowered the cost of health care and prescription drugs:  

  • President Biden and Democrats lowered prescription drug prices to $35 per month for more than 1.1 million seniors and other Medicare beneficiaries in Arizona . 
  • President Biden has overseen record enrollment in the Affordable Care Act marketplace. In December 2024, 348,000 Arizonans signed up during the Affordable Care Act’s Open Enrollment Period
