From: Art League Of Long IslandDix Hills, NY - The Art League of Long Island (ALLI) proudly presents its 68th Annual Members’ Exhibition a showcase of the remarkable talents within its vibrant community of artists. The exhibition, hosted in the Jeanie Tengelsen Gallery, will run from December 14, 2024 through January 24, 2025 featuring an array of artwork from painting and ceramics to jewelry and fiber arts.
This annual event is a cherished tradition that highlights the diversity and creativity of ALLI’s over 400 memberships. From emerging artists embarking on their creative journey to seasoned professionals, each participant demonstrates the profound artistic spirit that fuels the Art League of Long Island’s mission. It is an opportunity for everyone to celebrate creativity across mediums and generations.
Due to the high volume of submissions, the exhibition is split into two parts, with Part I showcasing artists with last names M-Z and Part II with last names A-L. This format alternates each year, ensuring equal opportunities for members to shine.

This is where we will celebrate the incredible talent of our members and announce recipients of “Awards of Excellence” and “Honorable Mentions”, chosen by this year’s esteemed juror, Karli Wurzelbacher, PhD.
Karli Wurzelbacher, PhD, Chief Curator at the Heckscher Museum of Art, brings a wealth of expertise to this year’s exhibition. With a distinguished career that includes curatorial roles at The Baltimore Museum of Art and The Columbus Museum of Art, Wurzelbacher’s deep knowledge of twentieth-century American art and her innovative approach to curation promise a thoughtful and inspiring selection process.
ALLI’s members are the lifeblood of the organization, their creativity and support help sustain the programs and opportunities offered year-round. Membership dues, though modest, form a significant portion of the Art League’s working capital, enabling it to nurture and promote Long Island’s thriving arts scene. Amy Tischer, Marketing & Engagement Coordinator calls the members, “the heart of the Art League.”
