We’re excited to announce that our next round of grant giving is now open!

We will have two separate applications — one for organizations, including arts and culture nonprofits, educational institutions, and nonprofits. The other will be for individual artists.

GRANTS FOR ORGANIZATIONS

The Arts Foundation will provide grant funding for arts-related projects in Barnstable County. All proposals must demonstrate a clear need as well as an impact within the community.

Priority will be given to projects that fuel culture and innovation, drive economic growth, increase access to the arts, and strengthen involvement in the arts community.

Please note, the deadline for organizations to apply for a grant is Friday, March 8 at 11:59 PM.

GRANTS FOR INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS

The Arts Foundation will provide grant funding to individual artists who live and work on Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, and Nantucket.

These grants fall into two categories. Please note, you can only apply for one and not both:

Building Capabilities — Funding supports opportunities which pertain to the individual's effectiveness and overall growth as a practicing artist. Requests must be made for a particular initiative and not general support.

Community Equity Grants — Funding provides a stipend to artists conducting an arts and culture project or program that elevates and/or successfully engages underrepresented populations. The project could also address challenges within the community.

Proposals will be judged on artistic merit; impact on the community; demonstrated community need; and thoroughness of the application.
