Dear Friend of the Arts Foundation,
A little over a year ago, professional musician Alex Torres & His Latin Orchestra were working side-by-side with students at Mashpee Public Schools as part of an arts-in-education residency. Over the course of two days, there were small-group workshops, a concert in which the orchestra performed with the school band, and a larger show for the entire community.
Originally scheduled for 2020, the program was postponed for two years.
"I had a colleague come up to me with tears of joy in her eyes telling me, 'This is what we needed at this time after being isolated and being locked down by the pandemic for so long,'" Tim Rumberger, the world language department chair for Mashpee Public School, told me.
That moment was the direct result of your belief that all children should experience the beauty and the power of the arts.
And because of your support, last year we connected over 5,500 students in our region to similar experiences through the Arts Foundation's grant giving and AFCC Access program.

As a supporter of the Arts Foundation, you know that lifting up the next generation is the most important investment we can make as a community. That's why I'm asking for a donation that will allow us to continue this vital work.
Your gift will have wide-ranging impact across the entire region, from Bourne, to Falmouth to Provincetown, and on students, emerging and established artists, cultural organizations, and patrons of the arts. To see firsthand the impact of your giving, watch the video below.
We would be grateful for any gift that helps the Arts Foundation support programs which provide our community much-needed joy; offer healing; inspire connections; serve as a pathway to understanding who we are as individuals; and build a healthy, vibrant Cape Cod.
Thank you for joining us on this creative journey. Together, we are embracing the arts and artists as an essential part of our lives and communities.
