From: Arts Foundation of Cape CodAmanda* hasn't had an easy life. Having been in the foster care system, the eight-year-old experienced trauma at a young age.
What gives her comfort? Playing the violin.
She's been doing so for the past two years thanks to support from the Department of Children & Families.
"Playing the violin has been a great source of self-esteem and healing for Amanda," her grandmother Samantha* told us.
Samantha recently adopted Amanda and approached the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod (AFCC) for financial assistance — so her granddaughter could continue her lessons at the Cape Symphony. We enthusiastically said yes.
We were able to fund a full year of violin classes for Amanda because of you!
Your support of the Arts Foundation makes programs likes AFCC Access possible and connects children facing financial challenges to arts programming.
May we ask for a special year-end gift today to support our mission that makes arts and culture accessible to EVERYONE on Cape Cod?
Your gift underscores our shared belief that arts matter — to us as individuals, to children and their families, and to our community. Thank you!
With gratitude,
Double Your Impact with a Donation

They have generously agreed to match every dollar we raise now through December 31st — up to $15,000. Please donate today and help us meet the match!
