Awakenus will unite artists, DJs, musicians, workshop hosts, flow arts/circus/fire performers, and other creatives at a 3-day/2-night camping festival at the beautiful campgrounds of Bohamia in Talladaga, Alabama.

Our aim is to create the best vibes in the lush forests of Alabama that help the arts flourish and inspires connection between individuals. The festival will be participatory, meaning we want everyone to contribute in some way whether it be through art, music, dance, costumes, decor, spiritual practices, or whatever brings them joy. We want festival participants to leave with their hearts full, remembering they are part of something bigger than themselves.

Artists will be able to vend at this festival, and sponsors and patrons are invited to help cover artists' camping fees and meals at the festival (see Sponsorship Packages, which can be customized). If you want to sponsor a specific artist, please let us know via email: [email protected].

Daytime workshops will include yoga, acro yoga, sound baths, and more. Regarding music, we want to acknowledge that this will be a very EDM (Electronic Dance Music) oriented event with other genres represented more sparsely. It will be loud, and music will be playing into the wee hours. If this is not the environment you want to be in, this may not be the festival for you.
