The festival kicks off with an exclusive VIP Mixer at Bandera Brewery, offering sponsors, organizers, and attendees the unique chance to mingle with the talented songwriters featured in the festival. In an intimate setting, each songwriter will perform one song of their choice for the eclectic crowd. Sponsors will receive a specific number of tickets based on their sponsorship package, ensuring an unforgettable evening of music and connection.

Official Festival Performances

VIP Breakfast & Song Circle
Start the day with an exclusive VIP Breakfast on the second floor of First National Ice Haus, where special VIP badge holders and songwriters will enjoy breakfast together. This intimate gathering will include a collaborative song circle, allowing the festival's official songwriters to share and connect in a relaxed, creative atmosphere.

Official Festival Performances
The performances begin at 12pm, with three stages—First National Ice Haus, Kickback Korner, and Texas Salt Co.—showcasing incredible talent. From 12pm to 8pm, each stage will feature three songwriters performing in the round style for one-hour sets, offering a dynamic mix of musical styles and stories.

Songwriter Open Mic
After the main performances, Kickback Korner will host a Songwriter Open Mic starting at 9pm. This event will be first come, first served, allowing songwriters to take the stage and share their music in a laid-back, Bandera-style celebration of song.

Songwriters Retreat @ The Lodge at 7 Canyons Ranch

The Songwriters Retreat Day will take place on Sunday, April 27th, at The Lodge at 7 Canyons Ranch, located in Tarpley, TX, just 22 miles west of Bandera. This spacious 4,000 sq. ft. guest home sits on a 500+ acre ranch, offering a serene atmosphere perfect for inspiration. Songwriters will have the opportunity to enjoy peaceful hikes, engage in song swaps around the fire pit, and collaborate on new music on the porch. It’s an ideal setting for fostering creativity, building connections, and experiencing the tranquility of nature while immersing in the songwriting process.
