INTRO TO VISION BOARDING

2025 is YOUR year! Focus on your goals and dreams with a vision board—a fun and creative way to intentionally attract what you want in life. You can design a vision board to represent goals and dreams in all areas of your life or in just one specific area that you are wanting to focus on. In this workshop, Jenny will give you the time and guidance to intentionally define your dreams and aspirations and create an empowering work of art that will inspire you throughout the year.

In this class students will engage with the foundations of art as they explore their creativity! This series is designed to be fun and focused on student choice as they create art that is unique to them. In this 6 week series, we will mostly focus on 2D art including observational drawing, printmaking, painting, and blind contour. We will also spend some time observing other artists' work to understand composition, color, and how art can make us feel.

Learn to make this stunning crystal heart pendant, just in time for Valentine’s Day! This class is for the student that has some beading experience. We will be working with Swarovski crystals and seed beads. Kits will be available with everything you need to make this beautiful piece in many color choices. This pendant makes a great gift for someone special and of course hearts are not just for Valentine’s Day. Please join us.

Pysanky, also known as Ukrainian eggs, are created using a process similar to batik. Patterns are drawn on the egg with hot beeswax, which then protects the covered areas from the dye that is applied. By repeating this process with different colors of dye, a multi-colored pattern is built up. The wax is removed at the end to reveal the colors that were covered up at each stage. A great deal of patience and concentration is required to complete a single egg, but it is very rewarding to reveal your hard work when the wax is taken off. All skill levels and ages can create an original pysanka.

Welcome to the world of acrylic painting! Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience with painting, this workshop will help you get comfortable with acrylics and teach you how to create an original piece of artwork on canvas. Acrylics are a versatile and fast-drying medium that offers endless creative possibilities. In this step-by-step process, you’ll learn how to use this medium to its fullest potential, from setting up your workspace to finishing your final painting.

Alex Sanders is having a new Single Release Show! The show will also feature performances from some great local bands and solo artists, including Forever King Clark, Gabrielle Lea, and Dream Mode. Forever King Clark has been developing a fresh and beachy indie rock sound across the Asbury Park music scene for nearly two years and it is great to have them back in Belmar. For the first time at the BAC, Gabrielle Lea will share her blend of baritone ukulele and powerful, soulful vocals, a sound that has brought her some recent success on Spotify! And it will be very cool to kick off the evening with Dream Mode, an artist who brings a unique blend of electronic and alternative guitar styles.
